This lovely spot situated in the heart of South Philly is a fantastic find! We are craving some tasty tacos and hoping to find a spot that caters to vegans. Luckily, we stumbled upon this gem that serves up delicious vegan Barrio style tacos. I decided to order the slow-roasted yam, hominy, and black bean tacos with housemade vegan cheese, served with a side of lime salsa. They were absolutely delicious! The portion size was generous and really hit the spot. The tomatillo sauce on the side was a nice touch. We also tried the SEITAN wings with Thai chili sauce and vegan ranch. They were cooked perfectly - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The homemade vegan ranch and chili sauce complemented them well. We were pleasantly surprised when a complimentary order of tortilla chips and tomatillo sauce arrived. The food here is top-notch, and the service was excellent. Our meals were served promptly in a relaxing atmosphere with tasteful decor and a great selection of background music. The server was very friendly and helpful.

I gotta admit...I was pretty impressed by this joint. Awesome spot. I got the carnitas California burrito and potato taquitos. All I can say is wow! They are making straight up Art in that kitchen. But most importantly, for me, the service was awesome. Kevin was my server, and that dude was rad. He gave me some fire suggestions and seemed so genuinely stoked that it was my first time there. Make sure you tell that dude I said thank you. Ya'll are doing some awesome things there. I will absolutely be back!

Just wow! I’m in Port Richmond but was in South Philly for some errands my husband and I decided to give this place a try. He is obsessed with birria and they have a vegan version so I can finally experience it as well! We picked it up and brought it home… It was amazing!! The Vegan Birria filling isn’t a fake meat, I don’t exactly what it’s made of but I definitely saw black beans and chickpeas and maybe potatoes. I could only eat one, they were so hearty and filling. The consommé was so rich and flavorful. So much depth that I feel is usually missing in vegan broths/stews. My husband loved his birria as per usual. When he was ranking it for me he put it juuuuust under Loco Pez (his fav) because he likes a little more cheese. He hates driving in center city/south Philly but he said he would make the drive for Juana anytime I want it. We will definitely be back to try more! Picture attached is the vegan!

Arrive hungry because after your first bite you won’t be able to stop. This SoCal inspired Mexican restaurant is to die for. The owner and staff are all friendly and enjoy giving recommendations; I highly recommend the nachos. The tortilla chips are homemade and seasoned and as I write this I’m salivating thinking of them. Have taken several friends and they have all asked to go back when they are in the city. Update July 2025. Ordered the Mexican pizza and it was so filling I was only able to eat 1 slice. It was fresh and the shell was crispy through the entire pizza.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The food is beyond amazing, the establishment is pristine, and the staff is extremely friendly, and welcoming. They’re also kid friendly with some toys, games and books available as well as candies on the table. You can customize your own coffee with their little coffee station, probably every flavor jarritos, and delicious sweet treats (especially the churro) if all of that wasn’t enough the atmosphere is so fun and eclectic there’s a new sticker or art piece to look at, at every turn. I HIGHLY recommend!!

5 stars all around for theme and decorations!!! Affordable prices and a reasonable variety of food. I love that they have a 20% student discount. The tacos were amazing in my opinion. The meat had flavor and was juicy. I liked how they came with sauce and lime. I think the chicken quesadilla was bland, but it was large.
